Abstract: Simplified Virtual Laboratory (SVL) is
an industrial concept that seeks maximum efficiency in Multiphysics problems to
satisfy industrial requirements as time and computational resources. It is
important to take into account that this concept looks for minimizing
simulation time in order to make Finite Element Analysis (FEA), an every-day industrial
tool, not only for design or failure analysis but as a Total Productive
Maintenance (TPM) Tool. SVL is oriented to redesign and maintenance in most
cases. Three examples will be shown in order to illustrate how this concept
works.
